Our Global HR Business Process Optimization (BPO) team plays a pivotal role in optimizing value flow along globally streamlined end-to-end HR processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence.


As the Director of Global Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) Process Tower, you will lead our efforts in designing and developing medium-high complexity processes globally within HR Rewards. You will be instrumental in managing the activities of the process tower and coaching team members to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.


The key responsibilities will include:


Process Design and Development:
Design and develop medium-high complexity processes within the Global Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) domain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards, including end-to-end process documentation, and embedding of internal controls.


Technical Interface/System Activities:
Ensuring process workflows are accurately described, providing clear requirements for interface design to deliver Reward data to internal and external systems.
Working closely with colleagues in HR IT Center of Excellence to identify continuous improvement activities to minimize interface errors.


Project Management:
Ensuring effective planning, monitoring and revision of process improvement programs, system-related improvement projects, tasks, and activities against agreed financial targets (BCA) and time frames.


Team Development and Coaching:
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior and mid-level internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, address concerns, and drive process excellence initiatives.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvements, identifying areas for further optimization, informed by robust data analysis and deep understanding of the subject area and associated business challenges.


Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and develop elements of the strategic roadmap for the Compensation & Benefits process including a portfolio of future optimizations/continuous improvements that is prioritized to customers' needs.

  • In-depth experience in HR-specific process improvement, process management and/or project management
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, particularly Reward (Compensation & Benefits) processes
  • Ability to analyze Reward (Compensation & Benefits) business processes and associated data, and to provide best-practice recommendations for optimization
  • Technical knowledge of global and regional systems including Oracle HCM Cloud, Compensation Management Software, Oracle EBS R12 HR, or SAP HR
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and regions
  • A background working in DHL Group would be desirable
