Degetel is a consulting group specialized in digital transformation and dedicated to help customer to integrate and use digital.
The company is made of 450 employees world wide and 40 persons in Brussels. Our turnover in 2017 is 45 million Euros.
The job of the functional analyst is to design the ergonomics and the functionalities of an application. To do that, he must help the Business to define needs, analyze and formalize them, and then suggest the most appropriate solutions. He is then involved in implementation, specifically supervising configuration and functional and business acceptance tests. His duties include support and training activities.
Primary activities:
Problem Statements, Refine Needs, Constrains, Boundaries
Analyze Business users' needs and business requirements. Assume responsibility for analyzing one or more functional processes. Draw up the functional specifications for a Business change request
Identify, Prioritize Use Case Architecturally Significant
Use Cases Modelling and specification (detail), including Storyboard
Refine features/needs in Use Cases Elicitation & Description
Define the general and detailed functional specifications
Suggest or participate in definition of solutions (including examining choices between configurations, configuration and custom developments)
Configure and/or supervise the configuration of a Business software package
Define and implement functional tests in collaboration with the test team using standard test tools.
Coach a team of developers regarding functional aspects. Impact Requirement Change, Refine IS Architecture
Define the screen layout and the sequences based on the chart of the client
Assistance to the business during user acceptance tests
Support the business for change management
May mentor other analysts (From Advanced level)
Help define “look & feel” principles
Secondary activities:
Design and lead training for users
Implement communication media
Package configuration and development
