Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is looking for an eager Optimization Expert to join our business unit Logistics. What will your role be? Being an Optimization Expert you will be able to create world-class optimizers that solve the planning puzzles our customers encounter every day. You will be designing and implementing optimizers for Quintiq Industry Solutions, coaching consultants in optimization and researching algorithms to best solve all planning puzzles of the world. 


This is a full-time, permanent role and your base will be in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.  We expect you to work with colleagues around the world, but some domestic and international travel to customer sites and Dassault Systèmes offices is required.  


The challenges ahead 

·  Apply operations research techniques to create new optimization solutions and improve existing ones; 
·  Coach and spar with other Optimization Experts about the design, implementation, testing, and debugging of optimizers; 
·  Be the go-to-girl or –guy for Business Consultants with questions about optimization. 

Your key success factors 

·  Extensive knowledge of and experience with optimization techniques in operations research and/or artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.); 
·  Academic level in computer science, operations research, econometrics, artificial intelligence, or similar; 
·  High abstraction level and analytic ability; 
·  Communicative, enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible personality who can get work done; 
·  Agile and comfortable working in a culturally diverse & matrix organization. Please provide your resume and cover letter in English.
