Due to an on-going engagement with a high-profile Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, we are seeking to appoint an accomplished Solution Architect to be based in Coventry, UK.
This is an urgent and critical appointment with a closing date for applications of 6th June 2018.
This position comes with a salary in the region of £50,000 along with pension, private healthcare, life insurance, 25 days holiday and a range of other corporate benefits.

What will your role be?
· Deliver Solution Architecture studies and technical risk evaluations and analyses to assess the opportunity
· Effectively communicate capabilities and functionalities of the software solution internally, externally and to 3 rd party providers
· Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Support, Industry Solutions and Leadership to bring critical issues to resolution
· Understand and formalize business issues, drivers and requirements
· Evaluate solution approach options and available technology to ensure final proposal delivers capabilities that are defined in the industry process referential to the maximum extent possible
· Identify functionality in the project's design that can be best implemented as a generic solution supported by the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform’s Industry Best Practices
· Ensure detailed user case scenarios are defined and approved for each client solution being deployed
· Define technical objectives, process requirements, constraints, and scope of the solution to be deployed
· Identify and design enterprise system interface and data migration requirements
· Write the functional specifications for the customer and Industry Services technical teams, in line with Industry’s Best Practices
· Support Consultants & System Integrators on Solution Architecture
Your key success factors?
· Engineering and Computer Science degree
· Experience presenting Enterprise level solutions to executive management
· Extensive, long-standing technical experience of the Dassault Systemes PLM product suite
· Significant direct working experience as a Solution Architect on the iPLM Transformation programme
· Expert level experience of Solution Architecture, design, development and deployment for 3DExperience Enovia applications
· Deep understanding of JLR business processes
· Solid background and experience of upgrading and migrating Enovia solutions in several, diverse enterprise-level OEM implementations globally
· Expert knowledge of Enovia R2017x
· Expert knowledge of 3DExperience R2014
· Expert knowledge of VPM V5
· Deep experience of analyzing legacy applications and mapping all systems and processes to the 3DExperience portfolio
· Strong background in performing impact analyses of as-is and to-be Solution Architecture and effectively communicating this to influencing executive decision making
· Software configuration and customization management in a high-level design as well as technical, hands-on capacity
· Polished and professional consulting style and experience
· Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, Exalead
· Excellent conceptual vision around Engineering BOM & Change and Manufacturing BOM & Change
· International experience and exposure
