Danone North America is looking for a Quality Engineer in West Jordan, Utah.

In this role you will be accountable for:

·  Supplier Quality - Troubleshooting all raw and packaging material defects.
·  Providing expertise and Continuous Improvement on raw and packaging issues.
·  Acting as the liaison between the factory teams and all raw and packaging vendors.
·  Submitting and tracking of all non-conforming raw and packaging materials.
·  Contributing to reach plant-wide KPIs and action items as a member of the Plant Quality Team.
·  Supporting the plant COVI Engineer to drive cost savings initiatives as needed.
·  Leading consumer and customer complaint investigation and follow-up corrective actions
·  Implementing Quality initiatives and projects related to systems and procedures
·  Leading RCPS activities in the Quality department

ABOUT YOU:

·  You have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2-5 years experience.
·  You have prior leadership experience as Manager or Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.
·  You have the ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously.
·  You have packaging equipment experience and technical understanding.
·  You have ability to motivate a team of employees while being 'self-motivated.'
·  You have flexibility to work occcasional shifts (nights, weekends as necessary for coverage).
·  You have excellent analytical, trouble shooting, conflict management and problem solving skills.
·  You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·  You have strong Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc)
·  You have a strong understanding of SAP
·  You have prior xperience with RCPS tools (6W2H, Fishbone, Why-Why)
