Are you the Product Technologist that can strengthen our Product Development (PD) Portal team at Danone Nutricia Research in Utrecht? The PD Portal team is responsible for Product Design Practises worldwide to ensure compliance in our Early Life Nutrition Milk Product portfolio. The PD Portal team is part of the Research & Innovation (R&I), Global Centre of Excellence Product team of Danone Nutricia - Early Life Nutrition in Utrecht.

About the job

In the role of Product Technologist your will be working on the following main tasks:

·  To develop new products related to our future innovations. Also we expect you to play a key-role in maintaining and strengthen the teams technical experts by bringing and building knowledge in our engine to secure clinically tested efficacy of our products. This is reflected by your high involvement in cross functional projects and notable contribution to each of those.
·  Build expertise and knowledge in the field of shelf life.
·  Investigate and understand the registration-requirements of different countries, to be able to anticipate and implement pro-active in projects on registration-needs.
·  Investigate and understand the impact of different parameters (for example shelflife losses) on shelf life of our products and at the end translate into testing protocols and Ways of Working.

In a summary: the jobs mission is about learning the principles of product development and developing expertise on registration-requirements and shelf life knowledge, to enable an efficient landing of our key innovations worldwide in the market.

About you

·  MSc in Food Technology or similar with 1-3 years of relevant experience and affinity with Product Development and Quality (procedures)
·  Preferably experience in cross-functional settings by working with different disciplines outside Research & Innovation.
·  Fluency in English, both spoken & written
·  Curious and able to easily connect with colleagues
·  Proactive approach
