Marketing Controller HCS (Hungary, Czech, Slovakia)

(Fulltime, Location: Budapest)

As Marketing Controller you control the marketing spending in detail in 3 countries of the market so that reported costs match the services related to the month and the agreed internal plan/rolling forecast. In this role you will be the direct contact of marketing team in managing their budgets, as well as supporting them with financial analysis and reports to improve the business decision making process.

As Marketing Controller you are responsible for:

·  Control of the marketing spending and managing the monthly closing process in detail in 3 countries
·  Analyse the variance of actual spending vs plan (regular and ad hoc)
·  Report regularly to Group the actuals and rolling forecast in requested details
·  Keeping marketing costs follow up accurate and reliable on the monthly level involving marketing team
·  Regular update of marketing spending full year plans together with marketing team by understand the past spending and future plans
·  Active participation in new products launches (business cases calculations, providing financial recommendations) as well as post mortem analysis
·  Be a nr 1 contact person for marketing team in any needs or requests
·  Develop tools for better control and analysis of the marketing spending;

We are looking for Marketing Controller with the following profile:

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

·  Relevant university degree with 2 years’ work experience as Finance Controller
·  Fluently in English and Hungarian, spoken and written
·  Strong Office (Excel, PPT) knowledge
·  SAP, Essbase advantage
