Legal Trainee

(Part time, Location: Budapest)

As a Legal Trainee you will support the Lawyer in Hungary mainly with the agenda of contract management and you will have the chance to widen your knowledge within legal framework in a multinational company. This position is within the CBS team that is operating for the Eastern Europe Cluster (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovakia).

What will you be responsible for?
In the role of Legal Trainee you will be working on:

1. Contract life cycle management (“CLCM”):

                - single point of contact for contract status

                - explanations and guidance for business in terms of CLCM

                - ensures internal approvals and signatures of contracts

                - checks that all requirements has been delivered

                - contract falling under compliance system- checks all specifics

                - keeps evidence of the contracts

                - archives and scans contracts

                - reminds the business in case the contract is lost

                - actively seeks for system improvements

2. Checks publishing of the contracts with public institutions (due to legislation on registry of contracts)

3. Prepares simple legal documents under the guidance of the lawyer

                - powers of attorney

                - terminations of contracts

                - letters to state authorities etc.

4. Organization of meetings with notary, excerpts etc .

5. Compliance support

                - distribution of policies

                - compliance trainings preparation

                - templates maintenance and update

So what are we looking for?            

We look for a student who is following his/her minimum 2nd year of Law school education. In this role you should be able to speak fluent Hungarian and English. Furthermore, you should be precise and willing to learn to be successful in this role. This together with a positive and pro-active mindset.
