Our Danone sales teams are looking for a  6 months intern in E-commerce  for our 4 Danone categories (Plant-based, Dairy, Water and Specialized Nutrition). Together with the 2 E-commerce Managers you will support the implementation of our Belgian e-commerce projects in the retail, online pure player and pharmaceutical channels.

In Belgium we have the ambition to have the best in class online experience, ensuring high data quality, optimized online search and attractive online activations. This, we do in close collaboration with Belgium Clicks & Bricks (retailers), pure players and e-Pharmacies. Your main tasks will help us to support reaching these ambitions.

 

  A flavor of your responsibilities are:

·  Content Quality : you will support the E-commerce Managers with the organization of our projects and share information with our customers. You are responsible to create qualitative content to enhance our brands, to improve our products’ image and overall portfolio information. You will be in direct contact with our customers to share data and you will have to update them on online platforms too. In addition you will also update information in our internal systems to ensure our Sales and Marketing teams have the latest information.

·  Online search (SEO) : You will work closely with our Marketing and Digital teams to clearly define best key words per category and include these in the product information. You will also perform benchmark analyses of our competitors. There is no one size fits all and each Retailer has its own algorithm when it comes to organic search. Your main goal is to increase our products visibility (vs competition) on the different Ecommerce platforms.

·  Activations :  Working closely with the shopper marketing team, you will take the necessary actions to optimize our visibility and create online activations (banners, promo message, emailing). You will support them in the creation, brief and follow up with crea agencies.

On top of this, you will learn & work with our Brand analytics tools  which will give us insights on specific Ecommerce KPIs. This includes the full Danone portfolio and both Retail & Pharma channels, and the goal is to improve this overall KPI by implementing action plans by customer.

You will be part of the Sales Teams (FMCG & Pharma) of Danone Belgium. You will support the 2 Ecommerce managers and  you will work closely with the shopper marketeers and the Key Account Managers who will make sure you will have lots of learnings & a full sight on how to market and sell Danone products online.

About you

First of all, you are a Bachelor or Master student with a strong interest in the FMCG industry, and you have a particular interest for the online world. You are fluent in English and it is a plus to speak French and / or Dutch, and you have perfect knowledge of the MS Office Package. You are eligible to work on for at least 6 months, fulltime from our Brussels office.

If you are not graduated yet , we offer you a fulltime end-of-studies-internship where you get the opportunity to deep dive in your first working experience. You’ll receive an allowance covering for transport and meals.

If you are recently graduated,  we offer an internship, also called BIS/Beroepsinlevingsstage , with a monthly allowance covering for transport and meals.
