About the Job

The Master Data team is the owner of the Materials and Vendors process within the business and we are in a continuous way of improving in order to stick with the business constraints. You will support the Global Master Data team in their aim to standardize and harmonize Master Data across all Business Units. You will be working on deployment projects by working on data collection (material and vendor master data), analyzing figures, building a data portfolio and supporting the buyers and local teams on the master data processes.

As the intern, you will be working on these main projects within deployment:

1. Data Collection

·  Collecting data from buyers (locally) on all four divisions of Danone;
·  Contribute to the knowledge maintenance by documenting the Master data processes;
·  Review and Update existing process flows and procedures.

2. Training

·  Developing and updating training documentation in our Knowledge System – Oasis;
·  Apply deployment methodology to support buyers and local teams to adapt their way of working;

3. Master Data Community

·  Support End Users and Buyers on building templates and validate drafts of solutions;
·  Animate our Danone social network to ease communication of the Master Data Network;

About You

You are a Master student in Engineering/ Information Systems or related fields . You know how to handle data and analyze the input with necessary tools (i.e. Excel, MS Office) and willing to learn other formulas (Macro, Pivot).You are confident working autonomously in a complex work environment, think proactively and innovatively and not afraid to communicate and reach out to others. You are a results-oriented person , thriving in an environment where you can solve problems and be continuously challenged . Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills, great attention to detail with a ‘Can do’ mindset.

Next to this, there are a few eligibility requirements:

·  Enrolled as a Master student during the whole internship period (If you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled in a Dutch university);
·  You are fluent in English – oral and written;
·  You are available to start as of the start of October 2020 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
·  You are fluent in English – written and spoken;
·  You are willing to travel/relocate to Hoofddorp, NLonce the COVID-19 situation allows us to go to the office.

As our intern, you will be part of a small team in the Master Data department and you will have the chance to work closely with Michele Ranaivo and Artemio Avetisiants (Master Data Managers). Within this team, you will be the fourth member, focusing on maintaining master data and working with IT on solving problems by process improvement at a global scale. You will be trained and supported to take on your own projects as well and work collaboratively with the team in a pleasant atmosphere. This internship offers a mix of experience to learn in an environment where autonomy, flexibility and team work are important values within the team’s culture.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month plus reimbursement of home-work commuting cost in the Netherlands. Please keep in mind that we do not offer relocation to Hoofddorp, Netherlands and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
