Become our Waters Hydration Data Scientist for a 9 months fixed contract
in R&I

to develop a deep understanding of worldwide data of various natures in order to provide opportunities for innovation and business growth. This position is located in our Excellence & R&I Worldwide Center in Palaiseau (91)

Your Mission

·  Innovate and optimize in the field of data management, analysis and interpretation, on worldwide data of fluid intakes , health data and market sales data, in order to gain a deeper description of drinking habits and behavior,
·  Develop innovative methods of data mining to identify opportunities for the Waters division business,
·  Provide expertise to other Danone scientists on their on-going research projects, on data gathering, representations and analysis,
·  Investigate on market sales data evolution in different places of the world and innovate in the data aggregation and representation in order to inspire innovation routes.

Your assets

·  Experience (2/3 years) in data management and analysis, statistical analysis, modelisation, simulation and data
·  Real curiosity for drinking behavior and consumer understanding and capacity to interpret data, build hypothesis and use data to strengthen / illustrate those hypotheses.
·  Agility and ability to interact within cross-functional teams and effective communication skills.
·  try-and-learn approach, and are willing to build a new field of competence in a young and high-level skilled team.
·  Fluent English language.

The Hydration and Heath Department (HHD) is part of the Waters division. Based on the strong conviction that Water is the healthiest way to hydrate, the HHD is committed to develop the science of hydration on general population, measure the impact of fluid intake on health, characterize the drinking habits in the different regions where Danone waters has business, develop tools for dissemination towards international scientific networks and local business units, and build innovative programs & services to encourage healthier hydration habits.

In order to increase the potential of the available scientific and market data towards leveraging business opportunities, the HHD wants to invest more efforts in data science.
