Job description

Danone North America is looking for a Baker in Carmel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Maintain the preparation and production of all baked goods including but not limited to: muffins and other quick breads, cookies, cakes, pastries, pies, yeasted and sourdough breads.
·  Maintain inventory and order baking supplies on a daily basis.
·  Ensure freshness and food safety.
·  Assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities.
·  Ensure all recipes are correct and followed.
·  Follow cleaning routines and sanitation standards.
·  Assist in catering and special events as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

·  Minimum of 2 years professional baking experience preferred.
·  Knowledge of food preparation methods, techniques, and quality standards.
·  Food safety certified desired.
·  Able to multi task in a fast paced work environment.
·  Flexible schedule with the ability to work approximately 30 hours per week, a.m. shift.
·  Ability to read, write and speak English required.
·  Team player.
