Data Analyst – ‘Advertiser 100%’ Project

Based in Paris

The Data Analytics team at Criteo sits between the business and technology groups. Our business is built on a strongly quantitative culture, and our analysts are involved in setting the agenda and driving decisions across the organization. You’ll be given access to one of the world’s biggest datasets, and the computing power to exploit it. We’ll ask you to produce data-driven recommendations that can be clearly understood and quickly put into action.

Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst to join the Criteo Advertiser Efficiency project entitled ‘Advertiser @100%’ . As this is a fairly new team, you must thrive in a start-up environment, be proactive, detail oriented and eager to learn and keep-up with an evolving product landscape.

What will you be doing?

‘Advertiser @100%’ aims at bringing our customers to their full performance potential.

All improvements generated by the project should translate into improved performance for our advertisers and profit uplift for Criteo. To do so, the levers looked into are the client’s integration, configuration and optimization.

Many opportunities have been identified, and the focus now is set on implementing solutions in order to unlock these opportunities. This position sits between Product and Operations team, which will allow you to decide whether an opportunity should be captured with a Product (new tool, interface, measure) or a Process (provide information, guidance and ownership).

Among the initial steps and tasks foreseen:

·  Use analytical tools to identify sub-optimal practices and quantify associated opportunity
·  Gather knowledge and insights around specific topics in order to determine most appropriate solution for each opportunity
·  Deploy identified solutions globally in collaboration with central teams
·  Assess impact of solutions rolled out and ensure they are effectively used
·  Produce analysis and case studies destined at pushing best practices internally and externally
·  Generate interest and excitement around the project, in particular among local Technical and Analytics teams to facilitate ideation process

What do we expect?

·  2-4 years’ experience in an analytical role in Technology, Consulting or Finance
·  You hold a Bachelor degree or higher in a numerical subject
·  You are passionate about analytics, statistics and predictive approaches
·  Highly valued : You have operational experience managing performance advertising campaigns, from an engineering or analytics point of view
·  You are outgoing with good communication skills
·  You are Fluent in English
·  You have a demonstrated interest in internet and technology; you’ll probably have used databases or have programming experience
·  You are versatile, self-driven, detail-oriented and hands-on
