System engineer in the IT Operations engineering department. The team is responsible for engineering enterprise-wide solutions in the monitoring and capacity management areas using, among others, exciting open source technologies such as Cassandra and Grafana. This role is idea for a technical person with Linux experience and that is up for learning new technologies.

Desired profile

Must have:

·  Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent experience
·  Linux engineering experience (scripting, packaging, ..)
·  Motivated to learn new technologies in a highly dynamic environment
·  Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution
·  Fluent written and spoken English

Advantage:

·  Experience with a NoSQL system (Cassandra, hadoop, MongoDB, …)
·  Experience with monitoring infrastructure and applications
