Job Description

As a HW design engineer in the Transmission ASIC team you will:

·  Create and optimize ASIC modules or complex schematics based on the customer requirements and new technology trends

·  Calculate the electrical parameters for proper circuit functionality;

·  Manual and automated testing of the ASIC’s samples;

·  Develop the automated test sequences;

·  Cooperate with the customer project development teams worldwide (transmission projects) in supporting them in the integration of the developed ASIC’s and modules in customer projects.

·  Support the layout design of the developed circuits, coordination of the sample PCB production.

·  Cooperate with the project team to reach common project targets.

Common used tools in Hardware Design are: OrCAD, PSpice, Zucken, MathCAD, Minitab, Labview

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

Desired profile

Job Requirements

·  University degree e.g. Electronics, Automation, Telecommunications etc.

·  Good electronics knowledge;

·  Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design techniques;

·  Knowledge of using measurement equipments and design tools;

·  Fluency in English;

·  Soft skills: result orientation, good communication skills, ability to analyze and organize, team player.
