Itls line of products made from mineral wool (glass wool and stone wool), polystyrene foam, polyurethane and most recently, wood fiber, are mainly aimed at the residential and commercial building markets.
Poste et missions:
Accountability Objective:
. You will be responsible of several projects to improve Industrial Performances based on a technical component (process, production, …) and an HR component (training, tutoring,…).
. Apply engineering principles and the MKT2i development tool to continuously improve safety, training, quality and cost business metrics. Share the best practices to improve safety, quality, and productivity of existing operations.
Major Areas of Accountabilities and General End Result of Each Area:
Process management (70%)
. Belong to the Quality and Process Control pillar, and actively participate to World Class Manufacturing activities (WCM).
. Build teams and address safety goals, scrap and downtime opportunities, energy savings, cost reduction projects, 5S implementation, Kaizen events.
. Manage the groups priorities, 1) Environment, Health and Safety, 2) Product Quality, 3) Customer Service, 4) Productivity, 5) Labor and spending, while managing each contributing factor

- people, process and equipment.
. Improve equipment reliability through autonomous maintenance activities.
. Participate to industrialize new products and new processes.
. Plant safety strategy involvements: audit workplace job position, actively identify and eliminate all security risks within the plant, and put forward the improvement action request.
Manufacturing Know-how Transfer and Training – MKT2i (30%)
. Participate in field work to get to know the best practices among each shift.
. Conceptualize, design and test e-learning training modules and packages targeting production operators and provide post launch support.
. Ensure the development and the follow up of the project.
. Belong to the People Development pillar’s team and pilot training in the plant.
. Animate the steering committee each month with the Plant management and participate to weekly review on the development with the MKT2i central team.
. Build Action Plan to reach the Year’s objectives.
. Animate weekly training events and support the operators with the MKT2i tool.
. Participate to the skills matrix project.
. Update the trainings linked to equipment modifications or new equipment.
Profil:
Background/Skills:
. This position requires a seasoned knowledge of the principles and theories of the discipline and their application that might normally be acquired through a Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree. Process engineer or engineer with an experience in industry.
. Additionally, this position will have the responsibility to streamline process flows by analyzing the actions performed by the operators using engineering and LEAN manufacturing principles (WCM).

- Strong interest for Field Work
- Good knowledge of IT tools (Ms Office and Adobe Suite)
- English necessary for international meetings, German is a plus
- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Green Belt certified preferred
- Self-motivated leader, able to make independent decisions
- Able to operate as a team leader and as a member of a team.
