Nexans has set up an EVCS (Electric Vehicle Charging Station) team to address the growing Electric Vehicle market around the world. Having decided to enter the UK market there is an addressable market of £30-40m per year for Nexans Agicity products. Extra support is needed to fully research this market, to contact installers, charge point operators and to field queries from the above, and to help grow sales alongside the UK sales manager. We are also internationalising the business, and support to fully understand the international business would be needed.

Your missions :

The UK EVCS Research V.I.E would be responsible for helping to fully understand the requirements of the UK market and to support the UK sales manager in attracting new customers to the range. There will be a need to research open opportunities, run marketing campaigns, respond to enquiries and ensure a smooth delivery of customers’ products.
The V.I.E would also be given the opportunity to accompany the sales manager on customer visits.
This role would give vital support to the UK market.

- Research Electric Vehicle market in UK : Pricing / Competitor products / Open tenders
- Research EV market internationally : Charge point networks / Open opportunities / Size of international markets
- Contact installers in UK to make appointments, understand their business and promote our EV chargers
- Attend exhibition in September in Bedford
- Research future exhibition opportunities
- Answer queries from CPOs, installers and consultants re: our range
- Collaborate with marketing in UK and France to look at promotional activities
- Devise delivery schedule/process for UK
- Write quotations for customers
- Active on LinkedIn and social media channels to promote EVCS in UK

Your profile :

- Educated to degree level, preferably with an engineering or technical background
- Required Languages: English
- Strong knowledge of all office packages, particularly Excel
- Good communication skills, flexible, outgoing, inquisitive, accurate
- Able to work independently with strong motivation
- Driving licence useful but not obligatory
