about the role

·  Design, development and delivery of new or enhancements of applications in production.
·  Delivery of technical documentation.
·  Maintenance of operational applications.
·  Resolve enquiries regarding issues within area of competence.
·  Technically design, build, and develop the software against agreed specifications.
·  Ensure the activities by holding the commitments in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.
·  Perform regression testing.
·  Perform code reviews and code merges for maintenance and scope releases.
·  Efficiently working on Agile processes.
·  Analyze quality of service and suggest improvements, wherever possible.
·  Ensure no blocking in the development activities.
·  Assist in reviewing the code after development when requested.

Knowledge and Abilities

·  Developing, testing and maintenance of Web based application using Microsoft .net / Asp.net / C#.
·  Develop SSIS packages.
·  Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
·  Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences.
·  Communicate with stakeholders / client / team members on the project status and clarifications.
·  Optimizing performance for the apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends in web technologies.
·  Project support and maintenance as required.
·  Build and share reusable components.
·  Software Development Life Cycle following Agile / Waterfall Model.
·  Good knowledge on JIRA, Jenkins and Scrum methodologies.
·  Produce schedules and information requests to project manager’s satisfaction.
·  Good written and verbal communication skills, fluent English.
·  Customer centric approach.
·  Problem solving and investigation capabilities.
·  Knowledge of development lifecycle including design and testing.

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications

·  B.E., B.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.

Experience

·  Minimum three years of experience as a C# , Asp.Net developer, with at least one and half years in writing SQL queries.

Technical Competencies

·  Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a C# , Asp.Net developer.
·  Minimum of 1.5 years’ experience with writing SQL queries.
·  Experience in developing services using WCF / WebServices.
·  Minimum 1 year experience with interfaces to external systems using FTP, Web Services, JMS, DB links, etc.
·  Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
·  Experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
·  Basic understanding of DevOps and related opensource tools.
