What You'll Do

You'll help us bring transformation to life by tracking and reporting out on key initiatives and team actions, including key wins and progress. Cisco Manufacturing Operations team seeks a motivated experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the manufacturing operations, drive cost reduction opportunities, manufacturing lead time and on time delivery of very high demanding product.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for conducting CM/ DF audit & qualification and on-boarding efforts.

You will have the Technical Quality Metrics ownership.

Engaged in Mfg FA and also drive on supplier FA for quality improvements and issue resolution

Provide technical solution for manufacturing and assembly issues and challenges

Yield management, yield achievement plans and execution necessary to meet goals will be under your responsibility as well as pDRT and Line Stop, Stop Ship and Line Alerts ownership within Factory Site.

You will manage manufacturing builds and timely resolution of technical challenges.

You will be in charge of assembly capacity, cost (model validation), NRE review and approval, product change management (LECO implementation & Deviation creation) and context management, including validation of skill sets and services.

You will be responsible for driving DFM (Design for Manufacturing) closure at NPI (New Product Introduction)

You will manage products at sustaining stage through EOL.

You will manage products from NPI to sustaining stage through EOL.

Knowledge in Cisco Cat2K switch and RF Access Point product & assembly are highly desired.

Who You'll Work With

Cross-functional teams within the Global Manufacturing Operations under Supply Chain Operations that is beyond APJC region.

Our team works with manufacturing partners (Mpa) or Contract Manufacturers through very highly sophisticated manufacturing assembly and processes.

Who You Are

Holder of Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering degree in Electrical/ IT, you have at least 5 years Supply Chain Operations Manufacturing experience in PCB SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly, manufacturing automation, and managing Electronics Manufacturer Service (EMS) partners and possess. You are well versed with End-to-End Manufacturing process with understanding on test processes across both PCBA and DF operations.

You have a strong skillset in CM (Contract Manufacturer) or EMS ( Electronics Manufacturing Service) partner process experience is highly desired.

Excellent team player who is able to work in a highly collaborative cross-functional global environment

Strong in Lean Six Sigma or any process and cost improvement activities with proven track record.

Product knowledge or experience with Cisco Networking or similar is a plus

Strong analytical and critical thinking to help drive desirable decisions with global stakeholders

Show leadership in managing EMS partner and comfortable working in a global team setup

Your level of English enables you to communicate with all levels of the organization.
