The Electronic Procurement System (EPS) implementation project will provide a web based acquisition contract writing system to US Navy commands worldwide and be deployed to some 5,000 users.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic webMethods Developer to join our growing team in Arlington, VA. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment bringing advanced business information systems to support the mission of the warfighter. • Responsible for providing architecture leadership for application integrations and B2B integrations
• Understand the business systems, integration points and recommend and implement the right tool sets that’s most suited for current application footprint and future
• Build solutions that increase business value using industry standard methodologies and scalable integration tools/platforms
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies to improve existing integration platform
• Integration domain expert and advisor who builds and ensures alignment with the future state integration reference architecture
• Build & lead an integration team to ensure standard methodologies are communicated and practiced
• Plan, coordinate, architect, and lead all activities related to the integration of applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization
• Collaborate with the broader architecture community to provide feedback into strategies and standards
• Define and deliver integrated solutions by applying proven delivery methodologies including Agile
• Roll up the sleeves, get into the weeds of development and troubleshooting
• Effectively prioritize and balance technical project efforts and required application production support and process improvement initiatives to meet project schedule commitments while keeping existing systems and integration solutions running effectively
• Provide expert technical knowledge and leadership in the use of enterprise middleware development tools/languages, micro services architecture and enterprise application environment architecture.

• 5+ years (senior) of progressively responsible relevant work experience as a webMethods developer in the area of day-to-day design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise integrations.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or 9 years equivalent experience
• Integration experience with Software AG webMethods suite – utilizing web services and Enterprise Service Bus toolsets (Software AG Web Methods 10.x preferred)
• Experience leading and mentoring enterprise application developers
• Experience integrating enterprise and departmental applications using a variety of protocols and toolsets
• Expert technical knowledge of and experience with enterprise system integration technologies including:
• Web Methods Tools and Languages: Integration Server, UM, MWS, Optimize, Insight, Wm Deployer, Java Services
• Database development technologies and platforms including: relational database design, development, and performance considerations, stored procedures, SQL expertise.
• Experience architecting and sustaining complex n-tier enterprise infrastructure and network topologies
• Knowledge of principles of systems analysis, design, development, and support
• Strong background and wide breadth of knowledge related to concepts, methods, programming languages, and tools for development, integration, and support of enterprise middleware, custom web based, and client/server based applications
• Solid understanding and experience with software development lifecycle, change management, and system reengineering processes and best practices.
• Willingness to: attend on-the-job or offsite training; work extended hours as workload and deadlines require; be on-call to respond to emergencies; and attend meetings and make formal presentations as necessary
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the government
• Ability to obtain and maintain IT Level II access within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the government
• Due to government contract/security clearance requirements, US Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with tools and technologies for designing, building, and supporting n-tier application server and setup of related network infrastructure for new application environments
• Experience with mobile website and mobile application development, tools, and technologies
• Experience with SAP or EMC Documentum technologies and tools
• Experience using webMethods Cloud (iPaaS) and Cloud Deployer
• Experience using CrossVista for Web Methods deployments
• Experience with automated deployment scripting
• Experience administering and configuring Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools in the support of complex system architectures
