Position Description
Be part of something exciting and come and join our Greater London Financial Services business unit as a Technical Architect! Our Financial Services clients are looking to us to advise and lead them in their Regulatory Compliance, BAU and innovation programmes of work across Retail, Commercial and Transaction Banking.
As the Technical Architect you will bridge the gap between the technical team and business team. You will define, validate and promote quality solutions for opportunities, bids or projects, both internally within CGI and externally to our clients. This may be a standalone solution or part of a larger engagement. You will support the design and implementation of solutions in the Financial Services space, specifically Retail, Commercial and Transaction Banking, including the estimation of activities. Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating quality technical designs ensuring that the functional and non-functional requirements are met, support the team during the solution implementation by providing specific technical knowledge, aligning the use of the technology with the business and customer goals.
You will drive the technical quality of the engagement, including through the use formal and informal technical reviews and produce effort and cost estimates for the solution, including 3rd party components as appropriate. You will provide technical team leadership and design and own solutions to large-scale, complex problems. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Financial Services industry landscape and CGI’s capabilities within the domain and have a deep understanding of technical architecture within one or more of Retail, Commercial or Transaction Banks
You will have a good understanding of current regulatory pressures on the FS industry in the UK, Europe and globally as well as an understanding of Digital Evolution, API Management and Intelligent Automation.
You will have wide experience of different SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Iterative development as well experience of Open Source development and business models Build your career with us.
