SSE– Cloud Computing & Devops

Position Description
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Individual contributor 90%, Team leadership 10%
• Assist the team to resolve technical issues and mentor junior members technically and operationally
• Administration of the instances of our Cloud Management solution deployed for our clients
• Support CGI developed platforms (built on open source products, additionally custom developed), running on Linux and Windows
• Support all deployments and implementations and work with other teams to resolve issues
• Work closely with the team and ensuring that the defined responsibilities are completed on time and with quality
• Continual Service Improvement (CSI) for the processes owned by the team.
• Address escalations received from any stakeholders.
• Communicate with local and global, internal and external stakeholders at various levels
• Suggest improvements as necessary

Primary Skill:
1. Linux
2. Cloud Computing, Dev Ops
3. Communication & Presentation

Secondary Skills:
1. Java
2. Scripting - Python, PowerShell, Perl
