Position Description
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CGI is seeking a seasoned storage architect to join our growing team supporting CGI clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services to the NetApp Suite of Products. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, NetApp, and the end-clients. This network & system storage architect will be work at various CGI/and client sites consulting and executing various initiatives from design, architecting, complete storage solutions taking into account a breadth of network, systems, and technology including but not limited too conceptual, logical and physical designs.

These roles can be housed in various locations. Travel will be required for these roles.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Responsibilities:

• Strong Interpersonal /teaming skills working in large/small team of consultants as well as educate customers on CGI & NetApp architecture best practice

• Translating customer needs into relevant documentation, diagrams, design, requirements into storage, technical and system solutions

• Performing complex architecture experience which will include storage technologies, standards, arrrays, cloud, virtualization, proof of concepts, logical/physical design models, and working with other teams in some capacity.

• Strong workshop facilitation skills. Ability to articulate a business problems with an IT/Storage solution as well as demonstrating an IT/ Storage soluiton to solve complex business problems.

• Ability to effectively communicare with different audiences including various stakeholders

• Effectively work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills

• Skills should include NetApp Products Storage, NAS, CIFS, DFMS,Arrays product knowledge EMC SUN HP, OCI for monitoring,,Clustering, Cloud, VMWare, AWS ,Cisco, Cloud,

Soft Skills

• Consultative

• A “go getter” mentality – no sitting idle

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Must have experience working in skilled diverse teams (technical and non-technical)
