Position Description
Position Summary:

Tier 1 helpdesk for all issues related to Logistics Information Systems. Provide both functional and technical support to customers both locally and dispersed throughout the geographic area. Primary support will be over the phone or using remote desktop support; however, traveling to customer sites is required as needed.

This position may be filled in one of the following locations:

Los Alamitos, CA
Olathe/New Century, KS
Ft. Dix, NJ
Ft. Jackson, SC
San Antonio, TX
Ogden, UT
Ft. McCoy, WI Your future duties and responsibilities
Principle Duties:

Provide functional and technical assistance for all Logistics Information Systems to include PBUSE, ULLS-AE, TC AIMS, SAMS-1E, SAMS-2E and GCSS-A. Provide troubleshooting using various techniques to include over-the-phone, Remote Access, and on-site visits as required. Set-up, configure, and install software updates and approved images. Complete quality checks and functionality tests. Process requests for issue of new systems upon unit level data migration. Provide units disposition for displaced legacy systems. Utilize the LOGSA, LIW, PBUSE and USAFMSA website to validate data. Assist in the fielding of new systems and equipment. Provide system workarounds when required. Maintain equipment databases. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Skills:

5 years relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years in computer hardware/software troubleshooting and a minimum of 2 year's experience in SASMO.
Logistics STAMIS operations. Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
Active Secret or Interim Secret Clearance to start.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Additional Requirements:

Requires DoD IA Technical Level I to include CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ (must be CE enrolled)

Desired Skills:

Desired experience with SAMS-E, ULLS-AE, PBUSE, TC-AIMS, GCSS-A, SAMS-FM, or LogDAT
A Computing Environment Certification (i.e. MCTS Windows 7 Configuration) is preferred
