Ports, Protocols, and Services Management Analyst

Position Description
Government Secure Solutions – CGI (GSSC), a wholly owned proxy company of CGI Federal, is seeking a Ports, Protocols, and Services Management Analyst to join our Team in Arlington, Virginia. This team provides cybersecurity support to the Joint Service Provider (JSP) program.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) Analyst will work in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment supporting a PPS registry and organizational inboxes. Monitor customer programs’ registrations in the PPS registry for PPSM discrepancies and support the client's program through the PPSM resolution process, including processing PPSM Component Local Service Assessments (CLSA), Further Action (FA) requests, Non-Standard Boundary or Port Exception requests, and Banned Services Exception requests. Assess vulnerabilities and appropriate implementation strategies for use of protocols and services and their associated ports. Use the Category Assurance List (CAL) as the authoritative source for ports, protocols, services, networks environments, and boundary combinations. Perform technical reviews of new and existing PPSM and provide assessments for boundary protection improvements. Analyze information to the greatest extent possible and relate findings to the RMF controls so that risk assessments are easier to quantify. Review exception requests and provide comments or recommendations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (SSCP, Security+, etc.) required
- Experience with Remedy
- Experience with Configuration management in RMF
- Experience with networking administration of boundaries and firewalls
- Experience with eMASS
- Ability to develop charts, graphs, and data visualization in PowerPoint
- Experience with the PPS registry
- Knowledge of security architecture, networks, ports, and protocols
