Management Analyst I for EOIR

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst I to support EOIR in Falls Church, VA.

Supports DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review-Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). BIA is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. It is authorized up to 21 Board Members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman who share responsibility for BIA management. The BIA is located at EOIR headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. Generally, the BIA does not conduct courtroom proceedings - it decides appeals by conducting a "paper review" of cases.
This Management Analyst I position supports EOIR - BIA by assisting with the intake and processing of the files necessary for paper reviews to be conducted. The future member will be working in a fast paced environment and have a direct impact on immigration processing for the entire Nation.

Position pays $25.72/hour plus $4.48 health and welfare stipend. SCA Contract, non-negotiable

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Assists BIA with initial case review process
• Conducts immigration case file reviews for accuracy and completeness in a time efficient manner without reducing quality.
• Supports assigned regional or priority team
• Assists citizens, attorneys and immigration court representatives that call requesting status updates
• Responds to citizens via mail using standardized templates when necessary
• Utilizes a case management system to track and process assigned workload
• Routing case files to the next stage/personnel in the review process
• Generation of correspondence to various participants in immigration proceedings.
• Maintain the required case file processing volume

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Ability to successfully obtain a DOJ Public Trust security clearance
Pass CGI Federal background investigation
High School Diploma required
College degree preferred
3-4 years of related experience
Effective Communication skills- written and spoken
MS Office experience
mail or general office experience
attention to detail
ability to lift 25+ pounds
