Financial Controller (Maternity Cover)

Position Description
You will join a team of 2-3 Finance Analysts, covering the Lithuania and Latvia region, and you will be working closely with the Business Unit controller for Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We are offering a 15 months contract with possibility to permanent position.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Accounting and Execute monthly closing procedures deriving accurate, insightful and timely analysis of financial results compared against forecast and budget
• Manage, guide, supervise, evaluate, recognize, discipline and coach a team of Financial Analysts
• Preparation of reporting packages (month end, forecast)
• Presentation of financial results with discerning commentary to key business unit stakeholders
• Review and recommend approval for new business proposals using our guiding principles as a basis
• Partner with business leaders in managing all aspects of financial performance and driving business results
• Provide data-driven insights into the internal and external environment and make recommendations to drive business performance
• Drive the budget planning and forecast process, gather input and develop an understanding of business profile
• Develop and implement metrics and analytical tools in order to help manage and guide the business to improved operational and financial performance
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience of Operations Finance Experience, ideally in a business partnering role
• Advance knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English

Education and Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent
