Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Drupal Developer (Mid/Junior) to join our financial services team in Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. Within this project, Drupal Developers will be one of several developers working in an Agile environment, and the ideal candidate will be expected to be able to multitask and work in a diverse environment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Drupal Certified Developer or Drupal Certified Front End Specialist or Drupal Certified Back End Specialist​ desired

Your future duties and responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities may include but not be limited to site building, implementation and updating of Drupal modules, issue resolution and troubleshooting, operations and maintenance tasks, documentation and testing support, and contributing to the design and development of custom solutions. The candidate will be able to take on technical tasks independently while working closely with senior-level staff to learn tools, techniques, and coding standards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Hands-on Drupal Experience
• 3+ years of experience with Drupal 7x or 8x
• Experience using Angular and/or ReactJS
• Experience in DB/SQL
• Comfortable working with JavaScript; both within Drupal, and on its own.
• Experience building RESTful API
• Familiarity with Headless/Decoupled website development
• Experience developing web applications using front-end frameworks.
• Ability to Integrate with Web services (RESTful/JSON,SOAP services)
• Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket)
• Strong working experience with core Java APIs
• Experience working in an Agile Environment
• Good communication skills
