Business Process Analyst (Jr-Mid Level)

Position Description

If so, CGI Federal’s Regulatory Agency Programs Business Unit has an exciting opportunity supporting the federal government. We are looking for people with a client-focused mindset, analytical capabilities, and a knack for process excellence to solve problems.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Lead/support high-profile strategic initiatives focused on transforming the client’s IT organization
• Create roadmaps, strategy, scope and vision documents for CGI and client-led initiatives
• Set and manage to monthly goals via epics and stories in JIRA
• Develop, manage and take the lead on stakeholder communications including conducting IPTs, stand-up, executive meetings, and developing and completing reporting dashboards
• Document, analyze, and recommend improvements to client processes
• Identify, analyze and define KPIs and performance metrics to support the client’s efforts to become a data-driven high performing organization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Must be able to work on client site 2-3 days per week, which is in New Carrolton MD (accessible by metro)
Bachelor’s Degree and 1-4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to formally present and document analytical work and model, strategies, or processes in a simple and succinct manner to all levels of the client’s organization
• Performing non -development tasks in an iterative, Agile, and/or SAFe environment
•Experience with change management, scheduling, organizing, and communicating time-sensitive tasks
• Proficiency required with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio
• Commitment to professional development, career and account growth
• Must be a self-starter who is able to take a new task and run with it
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interface with client and team members
•Must be able to take the initiative to self-educate to fill knowledge gaps

Desired:
DevOps, Agile, SAFe, SDLC, Process Improvement (Six Sigma, ITIL, Lean), and/or Scrum experience or certifications
