Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Business Analyst you will be extensively involved in business modelling and data analysis and the corresponding tools and techniques. You will use established techniques as directed to specify and document business processes and functional, data and non-functional requirements for complex subject areas with uncertain boundaries. You will be required to identify issues, take ownership of those issues and solve problems.

You may be involved in a number of different projects and will be required to work on your own initiative. You will be involved in the full project life-cycle and may support other areas such as testing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal candidate for this role will already have a number of years’ experience within a similar job, ideally within an IT consultancy environment. You will be a demonstrable self-starter, able to investigate and lead.
We would expect you have a strong understanding of Business Process Modelling. This would include modelling, understanding and streamlining business processes as well as the ability to produce business process diagrams. Experience of swimlanes, Visio and UML is essential. You must have a solid understanding of the structure, relationships and use of information within a process. You will be expected to create data models and therefore must have knowledge of one to many, one to one, many to many, many to one relationships.

You must also have excellent experience of requirements analysis and engineering and have worked extensively within an Agile environment. You will also have excellent document writing skills for writing effective reports and specifications.
Desirable qualifications to have include:

• BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice.
• BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering.
• IIBA CBAP Certification

This role is based out of our Chelmsford offices, however there may be occasions when you are required to travel to various client sites across the UK. Therefore a flexible attitude towards travel is essential.
