Business Analyst

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Business Analyst to support one of our Health IT projects within our Health and Compliance Business Unit. This is a full time position based at our Woodlawn, MD office.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review of Business requirements. Work with customers to identify, define, and document clients’ business needs and requirements
• Produce concise, accurate requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance test criteria
• Adhere to best practices and established processes using Confluence and Jira

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience; Health IT experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking
• Experience working within an Agile framework and environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Comfortable working in a client-facing position supporting backlog grooming sessions, requirements review, product demonstrations
• Ability to plan work efficiently to meet product owner goals and be able to adapt to changes in prioritization
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete assignments in a timely manner

Desired Experience:
• Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Advantage organizations
• Experience working in a CMMI Level 3 or higher environment
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence
