Associate Consultant – Sr. Architect

Position Description
Manages the Applications Development sub-function. Typically provides second level management to a group of professionals. The role has short-term operational/tactical responsibilities. Focus is on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development. May have involvement in regional projects, but as a team member rather than project leader.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Member will be SPOC for all solutions from an applications standpoint.
• As a Member, you will leverage your knowledge on solution architecture to deliver as per stakeholder needs.
• Member has to provide technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET web applications and SharePoint applications.
• As a Member, you will be defining Infrastructure and capacity planning for enterprise mobility platforms.
• Members will be creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Members will be leading technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, etc., and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed.
• Members will be responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design.
• Members will be providing expert knowledge of Sharepoint/.Net application architecture to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.
• Member will be working with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business / technology needs, Performance Engineering and our Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining the deployment architecture.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Primary Skill: Microsoft Technology Stack including .Net Framework, C#, VB.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net; Microsoft SharePoint technologies MOSS 2010/2013, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0/4.0, SharePoint Designer, Portals and Web Part Development; Web development technologies HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services, and Silverlight
• Secondary Skill: Developing Jr. Architects or tech leads aspiring for architect role.
• Candidate should have total Experience of 12-15 yrs.
• Candidate should have experience in providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes., applied research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations
• Experience in improving processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies and application technology roadmap.
• Experience in reviewing and approving 3rd party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.
• Experience in defining and validating non-functional (technical) requirements, and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.
• Experience in providing input to the development of project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, when needed.
