Job Purpose and Summary

This position is based in the operational headquarters of the company in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. You will be supporting the Human Resources Operations team, existing out of 3 direct colleagues. This team is responsible for the payroll of Canon Europa and Canon Netherlands, in total 1950 employees.

Within the Human Resources Operation Team, the payroll administration:

• Plans and executes the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and compliant payment of salaries;
• Is the point of contact for employees on payroll matters;
• Works in close cooperation with the HR and Finance department;
• Supports all payroll relevant reporting;
• Monitors payroll processes and is proactive in identifying irregularities as well as improvements.

• You will work in an international company with 49 different nationalities and 650 people (on-site and offshore) which makes it a great place to work.

• Initial full-time (40 hours per week) contract will be fixed term / definite for 12 months. After which there will be opportunities to extend based on performance and company needs.

The profile we have in mind:

• HBO education level preferred
• Payroll qualification PDL is preferred
• Good up-to-date knowledge on applicable legislation and regulation;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll administration;
• Experience with RAET Youforce HRIS and Payroll Direct is a strong plus;
• Understanding of the Dutch 30% ruling and understanding of Cross border assignments is a plus.
• Good Excel skills.
• Fluent Dutch and English (both written and verbal) is a must.
