Job description
As a leading provider of carbon offset solutions, we are actively involved in the development and implementation of projects to preserve and increase carbon stocks in forests, soil and other ecosystems. As a member of our Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) team, you will play a key role in sustainable NCS projects benefiting the global climate and their local environment, with a special focus on activities in Latin America.
Your Responsibilities
- You source and assess NCS activities
- You negotiate contracts
- You author project design documents and manage the carbon certification cycle
- You coordinate the development and implementation of NCS activities
- You advise our clients on their NCS strategies
Your Profile
- You have a Master's degree in forestry, agronomy or environmental sciences and at least 3 years of professional experience in NCS, including calculation and certification of carbon removals
- You have expertise in tools and methodologies to monitor land use, including GIS and remote sensing
- You are a self-motivated individual with entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy working in intercultural teams and are fluent in English and Spanish
