Position:
The main tasks of Accounting are accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, taxes, consolidation, regulatory reporting, account control and accounting related projects.
The VIE, Junior Accountant, will be a member of a team of 9 employees and will report directly to the Head of Accounting.
Your main missions will be :
- Support in the monthly preparation of the balance sheet and profit and loss statements for CACEIS Bank S.A, Germany Branch, and CACEIS Fonds Service GmbH.
- Reporting of monthly statements to consolidation team located at Head Office and close cooperation regarding all the related requests
- Assistance in the preparation of the local Liquidity Coverage Ratio figures for ALM department at Head Office
- Active participation in various transversal projects (review of accounting schemes, optimization of processes,…)
Profil:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration / Business Economics. A specialization in Accounting is highly appreciated
- A first accounting experience in a financial institution appreciated (internship, apprenticeship, full-time job)
Hard Skills:
- Good Accounting knowledge (IFRS + Knowledge in French/German GAAP appreciated)
- Knowledge of banking industry
Soft Skills:
- Very good team player
- Constant willingness to learn and improve processes efficiency
- Good communication skills
IT Skills:
- MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- VBA Excel (highly appreciated)
Languages:
- English (Fluent)
- German appreciated (or strong willingness to learn German)
