What is the role?

We are currently seeking a Metal Working Fluids (MWF) Laboratory Supervisor for our Midwestern regional laboratory located in Hoffman Estates, IL. The supervisor is responsible for managing personnel and workflow in the MWF sample testing area. They oversee production, quality control, equipment maintenance, supply inventory, purchasing, and training of assigned personnel. The laboratory supervisor also complies KPI’s for the department, leads a morning staff meeting, and ensures that subordinates comply with test procedures, work instructions, and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Biology, or an Associate of Science degree and prior supervisory experience in a laboratory setting, or a minimum of two years of experience as a supervisor in similar environment. Prior experience in a MWF testing laboratory or certification as a Metal Working Fluid Specialist is a plus.

Compensation

The qualified person who fills this position will earn an annual salary of \$55,000, be eligible for Medical/Dental, 401K, paid holiday and vacation time.
