Certified Access Specialist (CASP)
Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. has openings for Certified Access Specialists in various locations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform field accessibility reviews of onsite buildings, common areas and parking lots and evaluate for compliance with applicable construction related accessibility codes and ADA standards
· Conduct reviews using construction documents, automated survey checklists, evaluation software or other field based survey tools to collect information
· Prepare CASP reports identifying non-compliant items and recommendations
· Assist with the development of an implementation schedule with management along with a timeline for completion of improvements toward property compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have 3+ years of CASP review experience and current CASP certification
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Licensed California architect or engineers are preferred
· Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.
CERTIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
· CASP certification
· Must have a valid class C driver’s license and safe driving record
· Working knowledge of office computer software – Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.
· Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be a team player and able to work well with clients and co-workers
· Must possess problem solving skills
