To assist in the delivery of the Customs Strategy for the Group and ensure day to day compliance with cross border requirements


Duty Drawback Assistance – 70%

· Facilitate the duty drawback programs in the US and CA
· Liaise with third parties including customs brokers
· Prepare and review reports using internal systems, such as SAP, to facilitate the processing of claims
· Respond to queries regarding shipments and provide missing details or information to support the customs broker
· Review drawback claims for accuracy and compliance with recordkeeping requirements
· Monitor and track claims through payment

Customs Compliance Assistance - 30%

· Provide support to the customs team for general queries from internal and external parties
· Use internal systems, such as SAP, to provide missing details as needed to facilitate the customs clearance process including classification, MID, country of origin, product details, etc.
· Review customs entries for accuracy and compliance with recordkeeping requirements


· Good academic qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred
· 2+ years of customs compliance experience
· Good understanding of import and export requirements and regulations, including the HTS and 19CFR;
· Drawback experience preferred;
· Basic use of SAP preferred
· Intermediate excel skills
· Good standard of English.
· Ability to work in a team as well as being confident to work independently;
· Strong communication skills, particularly with commercial functions
· Attention to detail
· Demonstrates initiative and drive to meet deadlines and work in an ambiguous environment
