We have one great opportunity for an Intern to join the Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa Region’s Strategy Planning & Insights (SP&I) team based in London, on a 6-month fixed term contract, which could potentially be extended to 1 year at the end of the first term.  As an intern within this team you will be working closely with the Strategy & Planning Manager AmSSA Region. This is a great opportunity to learn and get fully involved in a multi-cultural and open environment. As an Intern in our AmSSA Regional team you will have the opportunity to work on strategic topics as well as operational tasks right from the beginning and be part of a dynamic team contributing to the business results.

What will you be doing? 

·  Consolidation and analysis of BAT and competitor data for the region, which requires constant communication with different stakeholders from around 100 different markets;
·  Ability to handle large amount of data efficiently
·  Databases and systems management (MS Excel and Power Point)
·  Provide support to Ad-hoc projects (i.e. data visualization dashboards etc)
·  Industry and competitor performance analysis and forecasting

 
If you are:

·  A university graduate of Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Finance or Mathematics related degree or have equivalent relevant experience
·  Interested in working with MS Excel and Power Point, and have some prior experience in working with both
·  Analytical, attentive to detail but also able to see the big picture
·  Able to deal with large amounts of information (data) and make conclusions
·  Willing and able to learn fast
·  Able to work independently and successfully in a fast-moving environment to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
·  Fluent in English and have good communication skills
·  And if you have any additional data visualization experience/skill (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) can be a major plus.
