The Scarce Resources Optimisation - Advisory will assist in revenue generation linked to scarce resource optimisation with European client base, both institutionals and corporates which require (i) a strong rates and credit pricing experience and (ii) good commercial skills facing clients directly ;

Increase pro-activity with clients on this topic with an experienced lead coordinator within financial engineering (currently done on a reactive mode when natixis is called by clients rather than being pro-active). This is to be achieved through :
(i) Active deal sourcing and idea proposition with banks (core and non core), corporates, supra, and to a lesser extent insurers – derivative novations, solutions to manage liquidity and capital linked to derivatives in a changing regulatory framework for all market participants ;
(ii) Lead structurer and project coordinator on xva and balance sheet solutions : client csa optimisation, derivative repacks, wrong way risk exit, etc
• Actively source xva optimisation deals with clients which will be mainly banks, core and non core, in the new basel 4 framework. Be proactive in deal sourcing facing clients ;
• Lead structurer and project coordinator on optimisation solutions/transactions related to xva and balance sheet : for example, develop third party collateral deals, derivative repacks, Wrong way exits
• Develop the product offer and position natixis as an adviser to corporates and supra in their cash management linked to their hedge derivatives in different market conditions

External : Clients

Internal : Sales, other engineering teams (pricing primarily), xva desk, FI scarce resource team, trading desks and support functions (risk, prudential, legal, compliance)

Profile recherché

• Analytical skills (strong quantitative background)
• Good commercial and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing and challenging market
• Experience in pricing and advising on both rates and credit structures / solutions
• Strong quantitative capabilities (stochastics models, statistics and probabilities)
• Strong knowledge of xVA pricing in different frameworks (standardised, advanced) and in anticipation of future regulatory changes
• Strong knowledge of bank regulations and accounting framework
• Ability to lead complex transactions projects and secure all relevant internal approvals
• Good knowledge of repackaging techniques
