You will join West Connex Project in Sydney.
Poste et missions:
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Follow various geotechnical aspect of tunnel construction works, which include but not limited to logging of samples, face mapping, probe hole logging and reporting on instrumentation and monitoring data. Understanding and review of support design drawing will also be required
Under the supervision of the Geotechnical Manager.
KEY RESULT AREAS/RESPONSIBILTIES
- Geotechnical Mapping of the tunnel face
- Rock mass classification
- Hydrogeological assessment
- Temporary Works Design
- Working within a team of site based technical staff predominantly working in shifts (7,3,7,4 Day/Night Roster)
- Quality control management
- Assisting the production team with permits, quality control and safety
The Geotechnical Engineer will report to the Geotechnical Manager and work within a team of 3 people within the Engineering Team.
The Geotechnical Engineer shall be prepared to work in night shift to cover the tunnelling site activities.
