Bouygues Travaux Publics is building two new nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low-carbon electricity for around six million homes. Hinkley Point C is currently one of the largest construction project in Europe.
Poste et missions:
Review and follow-up of detailed design submitted by the steelwork contractor.
Comparison with design submitted by the designer, and follow-up of the modification.
Review of all quality document and management plan submitted by the subcontractor.
Assure that all document submitted followed British standard.
Follow-up and control the fabrication process of steelwork structure of HMX.
Submit and follow-up communication with the client in terms of steelwork structure issue.
Assure that fabrication progress follow programme.
Have a great and precise understanding of the British and European steelwork structure standard and use it all along the internship.
Use and know the vocabulary of the steelwork structure and of the project (RAMS, FCR, RFI…).
At the end of the internship, the VIE will be autonomous with project requirement and BYLOR organization.
Knowing well the steelwork structure to talk with the subcontractor on design meeting.
To be autonomous to control steelwork structure erection.
