Description of assignment
· Reports to the Regional Security Management team
· To deliver all aspects of security whilst providing a safe and secure environment for clients’ assets and people
· To ensure access control, visitor monitoring and booking systems are complied with
· To monitor entrances and exits by patrolling and the use of surveillance equipment
· To challenge unescorted/unidentified visitors and contractors
· To liaise with external authorities, where appropriate, to ensure security is maintained at all times
· To carry out VIP escort duties when required
· Be the first point of contact in the event of an incident or emergency
· Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0800-1700
Profile
· SIA Security Licence essential
· CCTV Licence desirable
· Good oral and written communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
· Flexible and enthusiastic approach to your work
· Must have experience in Incident Management and Alarm Responses
· The ability to act appropriately under pressure is crucial as you may be required to act in critical incidents
· Must be client/customer focused and able to represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
