Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled M&E Technician (Plumber) to join our team in Preston. The main focus of the role will be providing plumbing maintenance services on multiple sites for the healthcare trust.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role will involve:
To provide plumbing and associated skills to maintain multiple sites
To apply relevant trade skills to undertake scheduled, planned and reactive maintenance
To report and / or make safe potential hazardous situations
To complete jobs as assigned on a PDA handheld device
To advise on parts / labour required for completion of a job
Work with suppliers as required to ensure stock levels for service delivery 
To oversee contractors, escorting them as necessary
Working 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm , Monday to Friday with participation in the on call rota as and when required


The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Must have relevant qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Understanding of building maintenance required, including service assets
 Experience of various plumbing tasks such as pumps, pipework, valves, leaks and blockages
Experience of using a CAFM system such as Maximo via a handheld device
Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise work
Understanding of Permit to work processes and safe systems of working
 Competent Person L8 experience ideally and have asbestos awareness
Must be able to obtain an enhanced DBS clearance
Full driving licence required
Experience of working in NHS property management is an advantage
