Description of assignment
The role:
· Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager
· Providing supervision for all mechanical / electrical building work is carried out
· To supervisor trade staff and specialist contractors to ensure compliance
· Use of PDA/Laptop for allocation and closure of work orders
· Ensure works is completed on time and within budget to client satisfaction
· To supervisor and induct all contractors on site
· To ensure RAMS are completed to all tasks carried out to ensure safe working
· Carry out team briefings to ensure best practice is maintained
· Maintain accurate records and logs of all works carried out and resolve any issues that arise
· To provide cover for other supervisors / engineers due to absence and participate in the on-call system
· Role is based in the North West, 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Profile
The Person:
· Experience of working on a total FM contract with particular attention to Hard FM
· Qualification in Operations and Maintenance, Engineering, electrical or equivalent electrical discipline
· Proven experience of planning, organising and prioritising skills
· Hold 2 specialist qualifications
· Experience of working within a client based site
· Experience of supervising staff and contractors
· Experience of working in a governmental environment an advantage
· Previous experience of using a CAFM system
· Government clearance is a requirement of the role
