The role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager
To supervise both the trade team and sub-contractors, to ensure all work is carried out to contract specification and client satisfaction, based at Millbank but covering other UAL sites
To allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the performance monitoring system
To assist with the planning and organising of work for both direct and contract labour to ensure cost and time targets are met
To allocate and control overtime; to organise out-of-hours emergency works
To order materials and services, maintain records, control stock, provide engineers reports, etc.
To assist with estimates, site measurements and cost control information
To liaise with the client and resolve any issues
To identify chargeable works and ensure these are recorded appropriately
To monitor staff performance and sickness absence; deal with any disciplinary matters
To cover for other Supervisors as necessary
To carry out AP duties


The person:
Must hold appropriate qualifications (C&G/NVQ level III or equivalent) in either electrical or mechanical engineering 
Must have supervisory experience and good people management skills (appraisals, training, recruitment, team briefings, etc.)
Proven track record of maintenance/hard services within Facilities Management
Strongly client-focused, able to take ownership of projects/issues and resolve
A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
Must hold full valid UK driving licence
