Description of assignment

·  Carry out all Fabric duties such as Carpentry, painting & decorating, replace ceiling tiles and laying carpet tiles.
·  To undertake PPM and reactive works to ensure that all jobs are completed in line with Service Level Agreements, Key
·  Performance Indicators and Critical Performance Indicators
·  To immediately report any potentially dangerous situations
·  To order materials and services using ordering system and to update records and job sheets to certify satisfactory delivery/completion
·  Carry out and record all required compliance checks such as Water Hygiene checks in accordance with ACOP L8 and Fire Door checks in accordance with BM TRADA and others
·  To oversee specialist sub-contractors by escorting round the building and monitoring work
·  To be part of the on call rota and provide cover for on call staff due to holiday and sickness absence, etc. To take part in the monthly Trust generator test for the building.
·  The hours for this role are 40 hours per week, 0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday

Profile

·  Have varied fabric skills, including fire door checks/repair, fire stopping repair and shower accessory replacements
·  Understanding of inductions, permit to work systems and safe systems of work
·  Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
·  Good understanding of Health, Safety and Wellbeing with the ability to perform H&S engagements and training
·  Understanding of the Maximo CAFM system is desirable
·  Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
