Poste et missions:
- Reviews the entry data received from customers and/or collected in the field, participates in bid meetings and walkthroughs.
- Qualifies the opportunities, in accordance with Boccard Project Management System and participates in the review meetings.
- Identifies similar projects quoted/executed in the past, applicable project references, project ratios and technical rules. Consults with the Estimating Manager and Business Unit Manager in regards to the commercial conditions for the proposal: margins, terms and conditions, partnerships, etc.
- Proposes technical solutions to comply with the requirements and entry data from the requests for quote. Takes into account the best practices and regulations to ensure the installations proposed are in compliance – incorporate third parties as required.
- Develops, together with a draftsman and under the supervision of the Estimating Manager, the P&IDs and the preliminary layout for the estimate. Initiates the design review with the technical experts.
- Puts together the costing spreadsheets from the data collected (prices lists, vendor quotes, benchmark ratios, staffing plans, risk analysis, etc.).
- Controls the costing by comparison with reference projects and benchmark ratios.
- Writes the proposal following established templates.
- Participates in the offer review prior to submittal.
- Participates in technical alignments with the customer.
Profil:
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Food Sciences, Biotech or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility / Dependability, Attention to Details.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Project. Microsoft Access knowledge is desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency English/French is mandatory.
