The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:

Team Leader of Settlements Team
(Fund Dealing Services Department)


Responsibilities:

· Providing leadership to the Team
· Providing expertise and support (incl. technical) to the Team members
· Effectively dealing with any unexpected issues such as system failure, supplier error etc.
· Dealing with additional Client's requests (ad hoc & projects, such as new client's migration, new fund's opening etc.)
· Effectively cooperating with the management in Warsaw and Luxembourg
· Prioritize the different tasks, accept/refuse best effort requests according to workload
· Ensuring the quality and timeliness of the tasks delivered by the team
· Developing Team members including manpower planning, setting objectives, conducting yearly and semi-annually appraisals, providing ongoing feedback, planning the team's trainings and reviewing the skills matrix on a regular basis
· Planning team's work including monitoring and managing the team's overtime, manage leaves, absences and continuities
· Ensuring that operational procedures are kept up-to-date
· Leading and inspiring innovation within the team
· Publish and monitor KPIs, KRIs and other indicators

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements:

·  In-depth knowledge of Investment Fund Industry and Securities Market
·  University degree in Finance, Economics or similar is necessary
·  At least 3 years of experience in Fund Industry, at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role,
·  Fluency in English as working language
·  Accuracy & excellent analytical skills
·  Excellent communication skills & client focus
·  Computer literacy in MS Office (very good knowledge of Excel)
·  Dedication to quality and stress resilience
·  Self-motivation, willingness to learn
·  Ambition and determination to develop as a leader
·  Leadership skills
