Job description

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:

Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Accountant

Responsibilities:

· Ensuring proper accounting of transactions for Real Estate Funds
· Cash monitoring for the fund accounts and the accounts of the real estate companies
· Performing Fund Administration, Custodian and Transfer Agency Controls
· Controlling the correct ending of operations
· Preparation of statutory accounts, liaison with customers
· Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls
· Maintaining communication and relations with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders
· Active participation in the evolution of the department
· Being main point of contact for all clients

Desired profile

Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, finances or securities services, audit or property sector
· Fluent working knowledge of English is essential
· Good working knowledge of another European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian or Dutch) would be considered an strong asset
· Good Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate fund specificities will be considered as an advantage
· Numerate and analytical skills
· Ability to work effectively as a team player
· Excellent organisational & communication skills
· Stress resistance and ability to work under tight deadlines
· Self-motivation and willingness to learn
· Client focused approach
